Cheese and Marmite Twists
You will either love these or hate these.... it’s definitely a love for my family!
- 1 sheet ready rolled puff pastry
- 2tsp marmite
- 40g grated Parmesan
- 60g cheddar
- 1 egg, beaten
Cut the pasty in half width ways. On 1 half of the pastry, thinly spread the marmite so there is an even thin layer all over. Sprinkle over half the Parmesan and all of the cheddar. Place the other half of the pastry over the top, and roll out to about the height of a pound coin. Trim the edges to make an even rectangle then brush with the beaten egg. Sprinkle over the remaining Parmesan and cut into even strips. I also made some mini ones for on the go. Twist up each piece and place on a lined baking tray. Chill for 20 mins then bake at 220 degrees for 15 minutes. Leave to cool on the tray. I served mine with homemade tomato soup (recipe coming soon) and popped the mini ones in my @ecorascals snack pots for on the go!
